Religion Religion in the Shang Dynasty was based on on ancestor worship. They worshiped many gods and goddesses. Their main god was Shang Ti also known as "the lord on high".They made many sacrifices to their ancestors and gods and thought that the gods would bring them good if they did so.

The Fall of the Shang Dynasty The Fall of the Shang Dynasty started because the last king was cruel. Instead of the people overthrowing the king, like normal, he was instead killed by a king from a rival kingdom. Wu Whang overthrew the government after the Shang dynasty lost the mandate of heaven.
